What is the Enhanced Global Search Feature?
NetSuite’s Global Search has always been a powerful tool for navigating through records and transactions. However, this enhanced feature takes it a step further by allowing you to search for field labels directly within the screen you’re viewing. By typing the name or part of the name of a field label into the Global Search bar, NetSuite will search all field labels on the current screen, including sub-tabs and sublists.
How It Works
- Type the Field Label: Start by typing the name or part of the name of the field label you’re looking for into the Global Search bar.
- Search Results: NetSuite will then list the matching field labels under the “Current Page Results” section. This includes all fields on the current screen as well as any sub-tabs and sublists.
- Navigate and Highlight: Click on the desired field result, and NetSuite will take you directly to its location on the screen, highlighting the field label for easy identification.
