This feature can save you time and effort by making it easier to find specific field labels on any screen. Here’s how it works and why you should start using it today.

What is the Enhanced Global Search Feature?

NetSuite’s Global Search has always been a powerful tool for navigating through records and transactions. However, this enhanced feature takes it a step further by allowing you to search for field labels directly within the screen you’re viewing. By typing the name or part of the name of a field label into the Global Search bar, NetSuite will search all field labels on the current screen, including sub-tabs and sublists.

How It Works

  1. Type the Field Label: Start by typing the name or part of the name of the field label you’re looking for into the Global Search bar.
  2. Search Results: NetSuite will then list the matching field labels under the “Current Page Results” section. This includes all fields on the current screen as well as any sub-tabs and sublists.
  3. Navigate and Highlight: Click on the desired field result, and NetSuite will take you directly to its location on the screen, highlighting the field label for easy identification.
